National Simultaneous Storytime 2008
back home

National Simultaneous Storytime (NSS) is an annual event organised by the Australian Library and Information Association. Each year on a nominated date and hour, children all over Australia simultaneously read the same book.

NSS this year will take place on Wednesday, 21 May 2008 at 11.00 AM. The book for 2008 is Arthur by Amanda Graham and Donna Gynell.

A special feature of Arthur is that it is available as a big book as well as a paperback. This makes it ideal for shared reading on this event. Arthur also has a finger puppet.

Arthur is also a trilogy:
1. Arthur: Arthur finds a home
2. Educating Arthur: Arthur is house trained
3. Always Arthur: Arthur nearly loses his home
