As a child Iqbal Masih was forced to work in a carpet factory. For 14 hours a day he crouched on the floor bent over a carpet loom. No school school and no play for Iqbal, and none for many other children throughout the world who are forced to work in terrible conditions for very little pay. Iqbal escaped. He spoke against child slavery and gave gave thousands of other children the courage to leave work. Iqbal paid a high price for his vision and courage.
