Adelaide Publisher Wins Export Award

Adelaide educational publisher, Era Publications, added to its international accolades recently by winning of the Hong Kong Australia Business Association Export Award for 2009.

Educational Publishing is a competitive industry dominated by multinational corporations, but Era Publications, through its association with Hong Kong colleagues, Prolong Press Pty Ltd, has successfully supplied books to many parts of the world in different languages.

“The trust we have with our Hong Kong colleagues allows us to license companies to print our works knowing that they will protect our copyright from piracy,” said Managing Director, Rodney Martin.

“This trust comes from a business relationship that has lasted 29 years, the longest business relationship we have had with any company in the world,” said Martin.

Era Publications introduced their printers to clients in Norway, Sweden, USA, UK and Canada, and transformed their printing business from a very small operation in Hong Kong to a large organisation in Shenzhen, China now employing over 400 people.”
